EL 1870

What a pleasure it was when my friend Margit discovered this sampler on the antique market. A small treasure with many traditional motifs that "belonged" to a North German sampler: the heavenly castle, Adam and Eve, crowns, ship, birds, tree of life, fruit basket, potted plants, letters, numbers, borders, beloved pets and the cartridge with data of the stitcher. Everything was  simply "slimmed down". That is why the paradise garden is more of a garden.
